The barrels are out on Main Street in Carmel. IN. With all the rain we have been getting, a barrel or two is a great addition to keep the runoff from filling the river...Ok, maybe not in this 100-year flooding event.

Thank you Carmel Symphony Orchestra for sponsoring my barrel this year. July 17, 1717 King George took a river cruise and as a first, he had his musicians accompany him. He commissioned Handel to compose the music and today these tunes are popular for weddings and many other festive occasions.
This year's barrel captures more than rainwater. It collects a royal party. Music fills the air (literally) with the score and instruments in the clouds.
