Don’t stop trying new media. I am a self-taught, independent girl, but glass means you have to learn and have a team. Having access to all the materials and equipment means access. A great experience in hot glass at Glass Arts Indiana.
The Process
After a hands-on demo, I got to try my hand with guided creation. This is a “flat” piece. I got to use cork paddles to smash the globe into a disc shape. Sparks flew and fire ignited! Overall, a basic class in a media that for me a become addictive.
